Coupling Installation
Procedure for fitting the Trans-Sample coupling with or without non-return valve, or with flange fitting. Covers thread preparation, sealant application, vacuum testing, and commissioning the coupling to a 1" BSP fitting.
Oil Sampling — Sealed Transformer (Non-Return Coupling)
Oil sampling procedure for sealed transformers (no breather) using the Trans-Sample Non-Return Coupling (NRTS). Includes flushing, bottle filling, syringe collection with Luer Lock, and post-sample cleanup. Important precautions for transformers under vacuum.
Oil Sampling — Free Breathing Transformer & OLTC
Oil sampling procedure for free breathing transformers (with silica gel breather or conservator separator bag) and OLTCs using the standard Trans-Sample coupling. Covers connection, flushing, bottle and syringe collection, and safe disconnection.
